The Discovery Green mayoral debate was aired on 10/10/09 at 7 pm at KPRC-TV. Three of the four major candidates mentioned the need to improve bicycling in Houston. The only one who didn’t (Peter Brown) is already known as a bicycling advocate.
It seems like it’s shaping up that saying you’re against bicycling is like saying you’re against Little League, or you’re against pizza. No one would dare say such things. That’s encouraging.
